1. Shipment Arrival Documentation
When goods arrive at our China warehouse, we can photograph the shipment before any inspection, consolidation or repacking work begins.
The arrival record can include:
- Number of cartons received
- Outer carton condition
- Shipping labels
- Supplier packaging
- Domestic tracking labels
- Pallets or wooden cases
- Visible transport damage
- Overall condition of the shipment
This gives overseas buyers a visual record of how the goods arrived at the warehouse.
2. Outer Packaging Photos
Before opening the shipment, photos can be taken of the original supplier packaging.
We can document:
- All sides of the carton
- Carton corners
- Sealing tape
- Shipping labels
- Product labels
- Damaged areas
- Water marks
- Crushed packaging
- Torn cartons
- Wooden crates
- Palettes
- Protective wrapping
If the package arrives damaged, close-up photos can be taken before the carton is opened.
3. Open-Carton Photos
After opening the carton, we can photograph how the supplier packed the goods inside.
This may show:
- Product arrangement
- Inner cartons
- Protective foam
- Bubble wrap
- Poly bags
- Product boxes
- Dividers
- Accessoires
- Empty space inside the carton
- Internal packaging condition
These photos can help the customer decide whether the original packaging should be kept, reinforced or replaced before international shipping.
4. Product Overview Photos
We can take clear overview photos showing the actual products received at the warehouse.
Depending on the product, the photos may show:
- Front view
- Back view
- Side view
- Top view
- Overall appearance
- Product color
- Modèle du produit
- Emballage
- Main accessories
- Product quantity
For orders containing multiple SKUs, colors or models, products can be photographed separately where practical.
5. Product Detail Photos
Close-up photos can be taken when customers need to see specific product details.
En voici quelques exemples :
- Material appearance
- Stitching
- Surface finish
- Printing
- Embroidery
- Logo placement
- Buttons

- Terminals
- Handles
- Hinges
- Product edges

Customers should tell us which details are important before the photo check begins.
6. Label and Specification Photos
Product labels often contain information that overseas buyers need to verify before shipping.
We can photograph visible information such as:
- Modèle du produit
- SKU
- Taille
- Couleur
- Tension
- Capacité
- Poids net
- Informations sur le fabricant
- Batch number
- Production date
- Expiry date
- Barcode
- Warning labels
- Care labels
- Country-of-origin labels
The warehouse can photograph visible information, but photos do not replace regulatory, certification or authenticity verification.
7. Quantity Photo Documentation
Where practical, photos can be used to support quantity checking.
Cela peut notamment inclure :
- Products arranged for counting
- Carton quantities
- Units per carton
- Multiple SKUs
- Color variations
- Size variations
- Accessoires
- Spare parts
For very large orders, photo documentation is not intended to show every individual unit unless a full-count inspection has been specifically arranged.
8. Measurement Photos
If the customer needs dimensions confirmed, photos can be taken while measurements are being performed.
Depending on the product, this may include:
- Product length
- Largeur
- Hauteur
- Thickness
- Package dimensions
- Hole spacing
- Component dimensions
- Furniture dimensions
- Carton dimensions
The measuring tool and measurement point can be shown in the same photo so the customer can understand how the measurement was taken.
9. Weight Photos
Where required, the warehouse can photograph the shipment or package during weighing.
Cela peut notamment inclure :
- Individual carton weight
- Consolidated carton weight
- Product weight where practical
- Final packed shipment weight
The scale display can be included in the photo when appropriate.
Final freight calculations may still depend on both actual weight and volumetric weight according to the selected shipping method.
10. Defect and Damage Photos
If visible problems are found, detailed photos can be taken before international shipping.
Typical problems may include:
- Scratches
- Cracks
- Dents
- Broken parts
- Stains
- Deformation
- Missing components
- Damaged packaging
- Wrong color
- Wrong size
- Wrong model
- Leaking packaging
- Corrosion
- Surface defects
- Broken glass
- Crushed cartons
We normally recommend taking both an overall photo and a close-up photo so the customer can understand the location and severity of the issue.
11. Video Overview of the Shipment
A short video can provide a broader view of the shipment than individual photos.
A warehouse video may show:
- Nombre de cartons
- Overall shipment condition
- Products inside the carton
- Different models or colors
- Accessoires
- Emballage
- Visible defects
- Warehouse handling status
Video is particularly useful when the customer wants to understand the overall condition of a shipment containing multiple items.
12. Product Detail Video
For suitable products, a closer video can be recorded to show specific details.
En voici quelques exemples :
- Product surface
- Material appearance
- Couleur
- Printing
- Stitching
- Moving parts
- Hinges
- Drawers
- Doors
- Connectors
- Accessoires
- Product labels
- Visible defects
The customer should provide clear instructions if a specific area needs to be shown.
13. Basic Operation Video
For some products, a basic operation demonstration may be possible when the product can be safely operated at the warehouse and the required conditions are available.
Examples may include:
- Opening and closing a drawer
- Moving a hinge
- Operating a zipper
- Turning a simple switch on and off
- Checking a basic mechanical movement
- Showing an indicator light
- Demonstrating assembly fit
This does not automatically include professional functional testing, electrical safety testing, endurance testing or laboratory testing.
14. Packing Process Photos
Customers can request photos during the packing or repacking process.
These may show:
- Original packaging
- Removed packaging
- New cartons
- Protective foam
- Bubble wrap
- Corner protectors
- Internal cushioning
- Strapping
- Palettes
- Caisses en bois

When goods from several suppliers are consolidated, photos can be taken to show the consolidation process.
The record may include:
- Packages from different suppliers
- Products before consolidation
- Goods arranged together
- Removed supplier cartons
- New consolidated cartons
- Final carton quantity
This is especially useful for customers purchasing from several 1688, Alibaba, Taobao or factory suppliers.
16. Final Packing Photos
Before the international shipment leaves the warehouse, final photos can document the completed packing condition.
Typical photos include:
- All finished cartons
- Carton numbers
- Shipping labels
- Reinforced cartons
- Palettes
- Caisses en bois
- Strapping
- Final package appearance
These photos provide a visual record of how the shipment looked before dispatch.
17. Customer-Specified Photo Requests
Customers can tell us exactly what they want to see before the warehouse begins the photo or video check.
Useful instructions may include:
- Photograph every color
- Show every model
- Photograph product labels
- Show the connector type
- Measure a specific dimension
- Photograph packaging details
- Show accessories
- Check the logo position
- Show a specific defect area
- Record a short operation video
Clear instructions are important because different products require different visual checks.
18. Photo and Video Review Before Shipping
Photos and videos can be shared with the customer before the international shipping process is finalized.
If the customer notices a problem, they can decide whether to:
- Accept the goods
- Request additional photos
- Request another check
- Separate defective items
- Contact the supplier
- Request replacement
- Return goods to the supplier
- Repack the shipment
- Continue with international shipping
This gives overseas buyers greater visibility before the goods leave China.
19. What Photo and Video Checks Cannot Confirm
Photo and video checks are intended to provide visual information about the goods received at the warehouse.
They do not automatically confirm:
- Product authenticity
- Laboratory performance
- Composition chimique
- Material composition
- Electrical safety
- Long-term durability
- Regulatory compliance
- Certification validity
- Internal defects that cannot be seen
- Full functional performance of every unit
Specialist testing or third-party inspection should be arranged when those checks are required.
